Name: Cupcake Vineyard Pinot Grigio
Variety: Pinot Grigio
Region:  D.O.C. Trentino
Country: Italy
Year: 2011
Price: $10
Winery Review: “Our Pinot Grigio is full with a nose that shows hints of pineapple, pears and sweet lemons. The body is full and gives way to a creamy mid-palate, integrating tropical fruits with the vibrant zing of citrus fruits. It is reminiscent of a pineapple upside down cupcake.”
My Review: Very clean wine but plain. Not a complex or deep wine but a good price and an easy gift to give or to have at a party were people drink wine but are not devote wine drinkers.

Winery Review: Our Dog Blue: This popular white wine is a semi-sweet Riesling-Traminette blend, using Vidal Blanc for added depth. Aromas of melons, citrus fruits, apricots, and delicate flowers highlight the soft finish of this soothing wine. Serve chilled with fruits and cheeses, fish, or spicy foods.

Name: 7 Daughters Blend
Variety: Merlot
 Region:  Napa County, CA

Winery Review: A Merlot with layers of flavors, aromas and complexity. The majority of the grapes come from Beringer's Big Ranch Road Vineyard, which is found just north of the townof Napa and has consistently shown itself to have great Merlot gorwing conditions. Merlot from the De Carle Vineyard in Oakville, as well as some CAbernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc were added to the final blend to create a rich flavorful Merlot.
My Review: Strong aroma, fruity. Fruity taste with a kick in the aftertaste. Not had a lot of Merlot but was ok.

My Review: I really like this wine. The aroma was very pleasent with the citrus, orange in pineapple in partiular going through. The taste was sweet but not overly sweet which I really like. For 8 bucks this is a very good buy. I tried this without food.
Winery Review: 86 points, Wine Enthusiast. Fresh and easy to like. Smells clean and open, with peach and other white fruit aromas. You name the white or citrus fruit, and it's here: pineapple, grapefruit, mango and lime. Hits both the sweet and citrusy bases.

Wine Tasting - Duck Duck Goose

Name: Duck Duck Goose Chardonnay
Variety: 100% Chardonnay
Region: South Australian
Country: Australia
Year: 2010
Price: $ 7.95
Winery Review: The bouquet is flowing with ripe peach and Nectarine which leads to the mouth-watering Palate. Fresh fruit driven with melon and citrus overtunes.
My Review: This was an ok wine. The aroma did have a citrusy smell but fell a little flat on the taste. I have had better Aussie wines but for 8 bucks it works for a cheap Chardonnay.
